February Activities
In the framework of our project, we celebrated Safer Internet Day, on 07.02.2023, by creating brochures containing general instructions and rules for safer internet navigation. The project brochures were first translated in each country's language, posted afterwards in the schoolboards of our project partners and they were also printed and distributed to all the classes, so that pupils and parents can receive better information about the safety rules online.

For the Safer Internet Day, the project partners and students also completed a joint coding activity, which was also posted on the bulletin boards of the schools, so that all teachers and pupils can see it and be informed about the safety rules online.

This month's theme was "Our Money". The project students really enjoyed all the activities they made, which contained discussions about the currency and coins of each country. They counted their coins, categorized and then pilled them. They played a shopping game with paper coins and then made puzzles with the "special maths money" in a computer. Some students also did a quiz in quizizz.com which was relative with the money from all the countries that participate in the project and at the end they played the unique "Custom Special Math Game"!!https://padlet.com/specialmathss/february-theme-our-money-7w7ojwivufdan80m
The monthly evaluation meeting of the teachers, took place on 27.02.2023 via Zoom, where we talked about the activities we did on February and planned the activities for the next month. All partners of the project showed their compassion and support to Turkey for the difficult days after the earthquake, by expressing their feelings in one word on menti.com. Turkey is not alone....

It was wonderfull to see all of the "Special Math" students presenting the currency and coins of their country and also they had the chance to get to know the currecies of other countries. It was a very interesting and enlightening meeting for all!
